Nick Mason leads all-star line-up for Wilton Legends speaker programme
Words:
Wilton Legends at Wilton House is a new kind of classic car event that goes far beyond static displays. It celebrates the people, the passion and the extraordinary stories behind the machines. Taking place this summer from 19-21 June, the inaugural event will feature a remarkable roster of guests on the Legends Stage. Today we are delighted to announce another monumental addition to our speaker programme.

He’s a man whose rhythm has soundtracked generations. Nick Mason is celebrated globally as a founding member of Pink Floyd and currently tours with his acclaimed band Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets. However, his passion for motor racing runs just as deep as his love for music.
Nick will be joining us to discuss music, cars and his formidable exploits at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he competed five times between 1979 and 1984. He navigated the gruelling Circuit de la Sarthe in serious machinery including a Lola T297, an EMKA BMW M1 and a formidable Porsche 956.

Beyond his racing career, Nick is the custodian of Ten Tenths, one of the most revered car collections in the world. This is no museum of static sculptures, because Nick believes cars are meant to be driven and raced. His garage houses iconic pieces of motoring history including the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO he acquired in the 1970s and a stunning Maserati 250F. Hearing him detail the true nature and immense history of his collection will be an absolute privilege.
Join us this June at Wilton House to hear from motoring icons in person. Tickets are available here.
